  3. Can I compare the VIN on the title, dashboard, door label, and listing?

Condition And History

  1. What maintenance records are available?
  2. Has the car been in an accident, had paintwork, or had major mechanical repairs?
  3. Are there current warning lights, leaks, tire issues, brake issues, or known problems?

Inspection And Test Drive

  1. Can I see the car cold in daylight?
  2. Can I take it for a pre-purchase inspection by an independent mechanic?
